Newsletter May 2019

Aloha Kaʻōhao Families,

I hope and you and your families had a memorable Easter Holiday and time to enjoy each other’s company.

Summer is soon approaching and our time at school with your children is valuable. Please make sure the kiddos are still in school mode as we have only a few weeks left to enjoy this school year.

We would like to thank our generous KSO for providing treats last week during the morning meetings with the two potential Kaohao School Directors for next school year. Once the search is over, we will make sure you are in the loop, and get the very important information to your family.
Please take a few minutes to read May’s newsletter below and see the important dates that must be on your calendar.
Please make note of the student release times during May 1-3, 2019.
On Wednesday,  May 1, student release will be at 2:10 PM, and on Friday, May 3, student release will be at 1:10 PM.
Mahalo to all the generous families who donated to Student Council and Family Promise. The Welcome Baskets filled with home goods were all appreciated and will come in handy when families in need are moving into their new homes.
New this May Day, KSO will be accepting lei orders for May 3. Please have a peek at the newsletter below to see how KSO can make May Day easier for you. KSO will be hosting the Annual Campout and Movie Night on May 10, to celebrate the amazing school year. You can preorder dinner from One Love Cafe,  buy Bob’s Pizza on site or bring your own meal, but please bring cash if you are buying pizza or snacks.
Congratulations to our confident learners who have pushed themselves to do their best!  All their hard work and grit were recognized at the Second Trimester Awards Ceremony. We are all so proud you, the children of the future. Please peek at the PDF and congratulate a student or two.
Have a great week everyone!
With Aloha,
